Zero - WIPThundering iron, steel and wood charged down the tracks, yellow smoke bellowing from its twin chimneys. The three-rail tracks split the vast countryside, the only sign of man’s interference in nature’s ways. The forward headlamp pierced the midnight calm, chasing away the shadows with the candlelight from the carriages. The magnificently ornate slanted square body of the train hurled through the dark, protecting itself with steel grilles over every orifice; all fourteen of its wheels and the gold pistons than propelled them in perfect synchronisation just visible, a shimmering blur in the moonlight. Zombie Story - Chapter 3With gnarled, crooked hands and beady, twitching eyes, a lone creature sifted its way through the remains of an old pub. Its rotten flesh just hung over its bone and muscle as it pawed through disused beer taps and glasses. As it clumsily turned to the smell of out-of-date crisps, it knocked a glass over and yelped in surprise at the silence-piercing smash. It half-ran, half-stumbled to outside of the pub, afraid that the shiny monster would get it. The mid-day sun hit its eyes, and it stood, dazed, looking up at the picture of the two squirrels on the pub’s sign. Zombie Story - Chapter 2The banging and screeching of the infected creatures echoed up the staircase, shaking the room-high windows of the office. Josh bent down and opened up a silver briefcase next to him, heavily scuffed and scratched but still strong and intact. From inside, he took the item which filled the most space – a long, thick, brown rope with a claw attached to the end – and a small black car key set, which he pocketed. He closed the briefcase, and took a pair of steel handcuffs, also scuffed and scratched, from his back pocket. His own left hand was locked in one, and the handle of the suitcase in the other. Zombie Story - Chapter 1July 19th 2007
Josh looked down from the glass window of the hotel room. He could see the broken landscape for miles, stretching into the distance, back to where his home was. It seemed like it had been a decade since he had step foot there, when in fact it had only been three years. He had never gone more than about fifty miles from it in all those years, as if tethered to an invisible rope that would lead him back.
His vow never to go back, though, would not be broken. The ties to his past had been almost completely severed, and for three years now, he had been almost completely alone.

I haven't been on this site in so fucking long I don't even know how to use it any more, its all different and Web 2.0.

So I'm trying to start writing more and its annoying because really I should be writing everything in script format, seeing as I want it all to end up as a film or TV show waaaay down the line, but to get my thoughts down its so much easier to just do it in regular old prose. So I start writing it in novel form then I think "dude this is fucking LOOOOONG" and either give up or try and get rid of some of it, even though in script it would be about a quarter of the length cos you don't include half of the description, that all goes in the production notes and stuff, and I don't even know how to write them or really what they even are.

I guess this string of self-pity is just an excuse to say that yes, I will be updating VERY sporadically, and it won't all be great.

I've got many an idea stuck in my head and I am determined to flesh most or all of them out over the next year and put them on paper, in note form or fully-fledged or otherwise.

Also I like comments so comment on all the stuff when it goes up, even it is awful, just tell me! Constructive criticism is preferred but hey we can't all be winners.

Dude i'm not even drunk writing this, look how much I swore and how much liberty I've taken with the grammar. Thats the beauty of language though, its so flexible. Stick to the basics and you can DO WHAT TAE FOOK YOU LIKE.
